Welcome to the Still Going Strong Cricket Club web site (SGS for short).

Founded in 1929, SGS is probably the largest cricket club in The Netherlands with over 425 members.
About 150 are regularly playing cricket and/or golf.

Being 35 years old is the minimum age to qualify for a full membership and to be able to participate in one or more of the 60-70 cricket matches in our annual programme.

SGS is definitely one of the most social clubs in the Netherlands and we consider the third innings as one of the main reasons for playing the game!

We generally play 40-overs afternoon matches against many Dutch clubs, youth teams and touring sides. We also arrange quite a number of matches amongst ourselves.

All Tuesdays in the summer have been reserved for our senior playing members: "the over 60" group that consists of about 40 players.

We regularly play and entertain foreign clubs during the summer.
